We are finally back!! Many apologies to the five or six of you that were looking forward to episodes the last couple of weeks — sometime real life is tough to contend with. Work trips, sickness, a car crash, a car purchase … all conspired to keep us away from the microphones. It almost got us this week, too, but we squeezed it in at the last minute!

The Cougars paid off their close losses to Mississippi and Virginia with a nice, comfortable win over Toledo at home. The fantastic defense and serviceable offense have us feeling pretty great about what the rese of the season will hold, including when the Cougs travel to Corvallis on Saturday to take on Oregon State.

• Football’s win: We never thought we’d be so fired up for a win over Toledo, but here we are. Even though the Cougs are winning some games, we wonder: Does WSU have a bit of a style problem? Plus, a look at Zevi Eckhaus’ interceptions and the running game. In particular: Should Leo Pulalasi be getting some more love than he does?
